Algoma High School Partnership

March 2, 2014

press pic #3

This program gives students opportunities that they would not normally receive until after graduation from high school.  We are proud to be part of such an enriched program as it will develop some amazing manufacturing talent.  In the first six months of this program we were able to hire three graduating seniors to our team.  Our goal is to continue to mentor and develop young talent to fill the gaps in the manufacturing industry.

  • Students learn in a hands on environment
  • This program is run as a business which requires students from different disciplines to get involved
  • Algoma School District is in charge of the program
  • Our primary role is to educate and mentor
  • Students are learning design and programming software
    • Solidworks
    • MasterCAM
